Led by ICA Artistic Director Jonathan Mann participants will spend three days in London exploring two iconic works by Ludwig van Beethoven. Each day there will be group discussion and intensive conducting sessions. Our resident pianist Hamish Brown will play for all conducting sessions and be joined by a string quartet made up of professional musicians.
We are delighted critically acclaimed violinist Callum Smart will work with participants on the Violin Concerto, a unique opportunity to delve into the art of concerto accompaniment.
In addition there will be a special session from ICA faculty member Chris Clark on the skills required for effective presentation and communication in front of the orchestra and engagement with audiences.
